Storyblue has been especially designed to help writers to keep their creative work neatly organized. It is especifically devised for novelists and playwrights (or any other creative work of a significant length), it provides you with the tools you need to have for your characters, chapters, plots, etc., clearly defined and organized, so that all you have to worry about is to keep on writing.

You have the choice of using Storyblue either simply as a book organizer, or to make use of it also as a word processor to write your story. If you feel more comfortable using other writing tools, you can always import your chapters and scenes into Storyblue when finished, which will help you to keep track of which parts you have already completed and which require more of your attention. The program also allows you to add as many notes and annotations as you need, and organizes all of them (together with your characters and chapters) as “cards” to which you can go back whenever needed.

What makes Storyblue stand out from similar book-writing tools is its book planning utility. Here you can state your daily, monthly or long-term goals and check them at any time against your writing activity. You can set a specific number of words per day, per month, or just a final deadline to deliver the work. The program will provide you with a goal status and a chart – a graphical representation showing how well or poorly you are doing in meeting your goals.

You can export your work as an HTML, PDF, or RTF file easily and at any time using Storyblue.
